  • Student Enrollment and Ethnic Composition
    • The District is the largest district in the State of Washington.
    • The District is comprised of a rich diversity of student backgrounds.
  • Schools and Grade Structure
    • The District is comprised of over 100 individual school sites.
    • The District has both traditional and nontraditional grade span groupings.
  • Staff and Operating Budget
    • The District is one of the largest employers in the State of Washington.
    • The operating budget is comprised of local baseline and grant special purpose funds.
  • Education Program and Student Achievement
    • There is marked disproportionality (gaps) in student achievement.
